SizeGERMANY – the most representative and extensive serial measurement program, comprising 12,000 test persons in Germany: Human Solutions and the Hohensteiner Institute carried out this survey, which is to date still the most representative and extensive serial measurement program in Germany - “SizeGERMANY”. Within one year, 12,000 men, women and (for the first time) children were measured using modern 3D body scanners. Project partners are leading companies from the automotive and apparel sectors. The new database of body dimensions and proportions enables the apparel sector to update market share tables, body dimension statistics and tables of sizes. Additional evaluation of the data material, in line with the guidelines in Norm EN 13402 will simplify the introduction of the European sizes system - also in Germany.

Optimal uniforms and fitting procedures for the Qatar Armed Forces: Qatar has a new concept for uniforms. 3,200 military personnel were measured using the 3D body scanner and ANTHROSCAN before testing of the uniform prototypes took place. Anthropometric data was not available for Qatar - and certainly not for the country's military forces. ANTHROSCAN by Human Solutions was used to evaluate the data. Optimization of fit and the allocation of uniform sizes were carried out by XFIT ARMY.

Spanish serial measurement program: Within a five-month period, more than 10,000 women of all age groups were measured by six Human Solutions body scanner systems in 59 locations throughout Spain. Thanks to the 3D serial measurement software ANTHROSCAN, which makes digital measurement data available immediately and provides users with optimal evaluation options, first results were available as early as one month after the measuring phase. Spanish men will be serially measured in a subsequent project.
