Dear RAMSIS User,

the RAMSIS User Conference 2005 took place at the Department of Ergonomics at the Technical University in Munich.

The lectures and workshops of the RAMSIS User Conference addressed the various demands that are made worldwide on vehicle construction, new anthropometry databases and regulations and standards in different countries. The focus had been on the booming automotive market in Asia. The internationalization of RAMSIS was brought to the fore by the RAMSIS Global Concept in this year‘s event.

An informal get-together on the evening of the 13th of September in the Augustin cellar provided you with a first opportunity to talk and exchange information.

Then you listened to interesting and stimulating lectures on the 14th and 15th and took part in the following workshops:

>> RAMSIS Ergonomic Expert
>> RAMSIS Standards & Regulations

As a Conference participant, you achieved in a driving safety program on the BMW testing grounds at Munich Airport.
