tecmath AG signed a Letter of Intent with Lectra Syst?mes. Punctual for the IMB in Cologne (30.05.2000) both partners declared a common future strategy for mass customization in the apparel industry.
Paris (France), Kaiserslautern (Germany), May 16, 2000 - Lectra Syst?mes and Tecmath announced today they have signed a Letter of Intent to enter into an exclusive worldwide strategic partnership whereby the two companies will jointly develop and market integrated body measurement solutions for mass customization under the common brand "Lectra- Tecmath Body Measurement Technology".
Lectra and Tecmath share a common vision that mass customization defines a paradigm shift for the apparel and fashion related industries, from design through to retail. Quickly changing trends, growing need for individuality, increasing product variety pose new challenges for manufacturers and retailers, and require new technologies as well as innovative strategies.
