Automotive industry meets in Kaiserslautern from 20th September thru 21st September
Human Solutions issues an invitation to the sector
24.08.2011
The German and international automotive industry will meet in Kaiserslautern for the annual RAMSIS USER CONFERENCE from the 20th thru the 21st of September. This event takes place alternately in Kaiserslautern and in a different German city - last year the venue was the Nurburgring. The RAMSIS USER CONFERENCE offers users in OEM ergonomics departments the opportunity to interact with one other and to learn about new functions and projects. RAMSIS has established itself as the standard in vehicle development ― more than 70% of all car manufacturers worldwide use the RAMSIS CAD solution (computer-supported, mathematical-anthropometrical system for vehicle occupant simulation) in the design process of vehicle interiors. In ergonomic design, the analysis of an extremely wide range of postures and movement sequences is carried out with the aid of virtual human beings.
The event in Kaiserslautern will also see the presentation of the RAMSIS Excellence Award for the 4th year in succession. This award enables students and scientific employees in universities and technical academies to obtain an early insight into the processes involved in the automotive industry and to make their first contacts in the sector. The prize will again be divided into two categories, with total prize money of 3,000 Euros. The prize-giving ceremony for the winners will take place during the annual RAMSIS User Conference, scheduled for the 21st and 22nd of September 2011 in Kaiserslautern.
