Casey Pruett will lecture about: "Development of an Electronic Belt Fit Test Device (eBTD) for Digitally Certifying Seat Belt Fit Compliance", and Peter Van der Meulen will lecture about: "Ergonomic Evaluation of an Aircraft Cockpit with RAMSIS 3D Human Modeling Software". The fourth annual SAE Digital Human Modeling for Design & Engineering International Conference & Exhibition is scheduled for June 26-28, 2001, at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City at the Washington National Airport in Arlington, Virginia. The conference is the premier event for digital human models used in human performance analysis. Members of the SAE Human Modeling Technology and Standards Committee (G-13) have been instrumental in the conference?s success.The conference will provide an international forum for the exchange of new and significant technical information about the development and application of digital human models. In addition, the event will provide an environment for critical discussion and sharing of information among industry users and developers of digital human models. The theme for DHMC 2001 is ?Our Roadmap for the Future? and will focus on identifying current industry challenges and designing strategies to overcome them.
