IMB 2003 - The World Fair for Apparel Production Technology and Textile Processing

Human Solutions presents RETAILOR and XFIT. At the IMB, the focus will be on new solutions for body scanning and a special forum for the trade.

Kaiserslautern, Germany, 18. March 2003 – The IMB in Cologne (06-10. May 2003), presents trade visitors with the world's most comprehensive range of machines, electronics and processing technology for the garment industry, plus the processing of all kinds of textiles. What the Human Solutions GmbH has on offer at the IMB is pure, cutting-edge technology for the future (Hall 09, C020/028): The Kaiserslautern-based German company offers solutions for customized clothing with or without their Bodyscanner.

World Premiere for manufacturers and retailers

The official launch of RETAILOR will be the focal point of Human Solutions' presence at the Fair. In RETAILOR, Human Solutions presents a new software solution for customized clothing - a solution that for the first time concentrates different clothing manufacturers' collections and allocates them intelligently to the clothing retail trade.

With XFIT, a new range of products has been created for Corporate Fashion - making ready-made clothing fit perfectly.

XFIT can be used by armed forces as well as by the mail order trade. The German, Danish and Dutch armies have already put their confidence in XFIT.

"Theory and Practice" - Bodyscanning Forum at the IMB

With the theme "Theory and Practice", specialists from Human Solutions will host a special program about practical body scanning applications. The event is scheduled to take place in Congress Centre 5 (East Wing, 2 floors up) on the 8th of May, from 13.00 until 17.00 hours. Using lectures and presentations, Human Solutions and their partners will demonstrate various aspects of capturing body measurements by means of a Bodyscanner. 'Customized clothing production for manufacturers and retailers' is just one focal point of this extra event. Topics like 'Fitting of tailored production clothing in the Corporate Fashion sector', as well as 'Product development for serial measurement procedures and additional uses by means of Bodyscanning’ will also be on the afternoon's program.

As well as the special solutions and products, users will report on how applications prove themselves in practice.

IMB 2003: a key Fair for the industry

The IMB covers the entire spectrum of textile processing worldwide. That's why this particular Fair is so important for Human Solutions - because we will be presenting a solution that brings benefits to all stages of clothing manufacture, from customer measurement right through to retailing itself. “RETAILOR opens up new avenues of opportunity for manufacturers and reinforces customer bonding. It also gives retailers a competitive edge. Warehousing stocks can be reduced and it is no longer necessary to tie up much-needed capital in collections”, explained Dr. Andreas Seidl, Managing Director of Human Solutions. “Customers get garments that are perfectly sized, individually designed and of the highest quality.”
