Human Solutions takes part in a new cooperative project: Green Light for BRIDGE.IT
The German Ministry of Education and Research sponsors "Architecture Design for the Visualization and Optimization of Production Processes"
13.01.2005The cooperative project: BRIDGE.IT will create an architecture design for the visualization and optimization of production processes in the next two years. The objective is to create a comprehensive portal, which will integrate and analyze a wide range of data from heterogeneous inspection systems. This platform can thus be used in all industrial sectors in which the highest demands are placed on outer surface manufacture - like the automotive industry for instance, or in plastic processing sectors. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is sponsoring the project to the tune of 1.852 million Euros. Other participants besides Human Solutions are: Fachhochschule Münster, Fraunhofer Institut, Freudenberg Anlagen-und Werkzeugtechnik GmbH, Psipenta Software Systems and Steinbichler Optotechnik.
In the light of the current “Zero Defects” policy, surface inspection is gaining in importance in all the prominent industrial segments. Even the smallest deviations must be traced as soon as possible in order to further improve production manufacturing processes and reduce costs at the same time.
You'll find more information about the project (detailed description, objectives, consortium, architecture) as well as event information on the Internet at www.bridgeit.de.
