Three questions for Anton Preiß, Director Mobility at Human Solutions

Why is it worthwhile to take part in the RUC?

The RUC is a unique event. We address topics that affect our RAMSIS users and provide new impetus for them with ideas on how RAMSIS can be used.  At the same time we also benefit from the new approaches that always crop up at the RUC. The participants learn a lot about ergonomics – and can also contribute to the further development of RAMSIS.

What is your personal highlight this year at the RUC?

The RUC is in itself a highlight because it’s a very important milestone for us every year. There is no comparable event that covers our very special range of topics in such detail. I’m always especially interested in the feedback about the presentations of our developers – and I’m really looking forward to the factory tour at John Deere in Mannheim!

In addition to mobility, autonomous driving is again one of the key topics at the RUC. What’s new in this field?

We are still at the very beginning of the road that leads to finding out about the ergonomic challenges associated with the much-changed range of tasks for the vehicle driver. That’s why we’ll be talking about how the future relationship between man and vehicle will change during a panel discussion – and that will generate ideas about ergonomic issues. The issues associated with autonomous driving will continue to accompany us in the coming years.
